IRMCO 980-080

980-080 is a fully synthetic alternative to oil and pigmented paste lubricants for  mandrel tube bending operations of aerospace pipes. It is approved by Airbus for mandrel draw bending on stainless steel and cold drawing titanium and aluminium.

980-080 provides a micro-layer of lubricating film on metal surfaces, between mandrel body and tube wall. The unique chemical nature of 980-080 translates to matching the performance of aerospace traditional oils, with the added advantage that cleaning to aerospace standards can be achieved with a mild alkaline aqueous system.

Ideal for Stainless Steel, Titanium and Aluminium.

Please note when bending aluminium hard chrome mandrels only, should be used.
